Prevent Child Abuse South Carolina (PCASC) is a statewide, community-based non-profit organization dedicated to preventing all forms of child abuse and neglect. We are the state chartered chapter of Prevent Child Abuse America. Established in 1975 as the Council on Child Abuse and Neglect, PCASC is committed to preventing child abuse before it occurs.
PCASC believes child abuse and neglect can be prevented by engaging individuals, families and organizations around common prevention goals. We work with local, regional and statewide human services agencies, civic and faith-based organizations, businesses, health care providers and concern citizens.
